Aside from straight up glammy eye candy, these leather chairs are incredibly cozy, sultry to the touch, and have my mind wandering about the gatherings to come. Not only do I love how easy it was to install, they’re made to order like an original piece of art and make me reminisce of my screen-printing days. This isn’t your traditional wallpaper. My second venture into stripping □, I lovingly stripped the original, one-panel wood door in the dining room leading to the Indigo Room and attic to reveal her natural oaky goodness underneath. Hence, these two hands and a girl’s best-tool-friend (a pneumatic nail gun) built board & batten – measured, cut, secured, caulked and painted Decorator’s White by Benjamin Moore. Even with an ultimate goal of modern interior design, it was important to me to create a base design reflecting my 1934 Craftsman Bungalow. She’s my blank canvas splattered with color and spunk, accented with big, bold, and beautiful (BBB) thrifts galore. My home started out as a hand-me-down, beachy bungalow and is slowly, but surely, transforming into a modern, eclectic, glammy as all hell abode along the New England shoreline. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we? Drum roll, please. It’s nothing short of cray-cray to see how much my tastes have changed. □Īrticle and Hygge & West partnered with me on this project.
